Continuing Catholic Education (CCE)

The goal the Continuing Catholic Education program is to prepare “an engaged, articulate, and well-informed Catholic laity” to be able live, speak, and dialogue about the Catholic faith, challenging today’s secular culture. DVDs, FORMED  and presentations from Catholic scholars and experts are exhibited throughout the year. The bulletin will list any upcoming events.

Pre-Cana is the process through which engaged couples prepare for their upcoming marriage. This is a requirement of the Diocese of Trenton. St. Mary’s Pre-Cana team offers a weekend experience for engaged couples once in the Spring and again in the Fall. Married couples enhance their own marriage relationship while helping these couples prepare for the Sacrament of Matrimony.

“To register, first meet with a Priest or Deacon to begin the marriage preparation process and set date for the wedding.   Then go to https://dioceseoftrenton.org/precana and register for the workshop.”

Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA)

RCIA is the process through which adults prepare for full initiation into the Catholic Church. They receive the sacraments of Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation at the Easter Vigil Mass. Included in this class are Catholics who wish to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation, which is administered by our Bishop on Pentecost Sunday. This class is also open to those who would like to further study their faith. Classes meet every other Tuesday from 7:30 – 9:00 pm and some Sundays from September through May.

Join us as we journey through the Word of God using the readings from Sunday's Liturgy of the Word.

The gathering is designed to help deepen our understanding of what the Church teaches through the Liturgy, while enriching our participation in the Mass. There are Scripture Insights, as well as practical applications suited for every day life with the At Home with the Word book provided. We meet Monday evenings Sept. through May, from 6-7:30 in the All Purpose Room at the Pines. Come, let's learn together!

Small Faith Communities

Small Faith Communities have been established based on geography to allow people the opportunity to know other parishioners in their community. These Small Faith Communities provide faith sharing and a sense of neighborhood to our very large parish. These communities help in evangelization and bringing the people back through the practice of their faith.

Spanish Outreach

This ministry started in October of 2011.  We have a Mass in Spanish on the first and third Sundays of the month at 2:00 p.m. St. Mary of the Pines. Upon special request, other Masses and Ceremonies are available. We are doing this to help better integrate our Spanish parishioners into our parish family. A Mass for Our Lady of Guadalupe is held every year on December 12th. If you would like to help this ministry grow, please contact Cheri.
