Members of this Ministry, although not in religious life, choose to live out their baptismal commitment according to the spirit of the Lay Carmelite order. Meets 3rd Saturday of every month after the 8:00am Mass in the Charlie Kiger Conference Room. All are welcome.

Catholic Women of Zion

This group holds mini-day retreats for women. They begin with Mass followed by lunch. After lunch there is a guest speaker and prayers for healing.

Healing Mass

Healing Service - St.Gerard

This service is held the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 1:00 pm in St. Mary’s Church. Confessions are heard beginning at 12:45 pm.

Living Water Prayer Group

A prayer meeting is held to praise the Lord on the fourth Wednesday of the month at St.Mary’s Monsignor Reinbold Hall at 7:30 pm.

Maranatha Ministry

This ministry provides an opportunity for parishioners who are homebound to spend one hour each week in Adoration to our Lord. In this way they are able to join with those who adore our Lord in the Adoration Chapel.

Maria Esperanza

This group meets every Thursday morning 10:00am in St. Mary of the Pines to say the Rosary for the Canonization of Maria Esperanza and for special intentions. All are welcome. Betania 111, the community formed by Maria Esperanza meets on the last Sunday of each month at 3:00pm in St. Mary of the Pines for Mass, to pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy and the Rosary. All are welcome.

Perpetual Adoration

St. Mary’s Perpetual Adoration Chapel is located behind the church in Barnegat. Volunteers are assigned to cover the Chapel 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. These adorers offer one hour a week, however everyone is welcome to visit with the Lord at any time. New adorers are always welcomed, as each hour must have an assigned adorer.

Spiritual Direction

Spiritual direction is offered by certified spiritual directors to help foster deeper spiritual growth. Pat is associated with Saint Joseph Retreat House in Mantoloking NJ. Pat studied with the Jesuits in Wernersville, Pa.

St. Padre Pio Prayer Group

Like the Apostle Paul, St Padre Pio placed at the center of his life and apostolic work the Cross of his Lord as his strength, his wisdom and his glory.
